We manufacture using gr304 stainless steel tube and flanges, tube diameter is 4", C.N.C mandrel bent at the turbo face, tapering down to 3", then to 2 1/2", all flanges are laser cut then tig welded. This system was developed after countless hours using dyno, flow bench and road testing, being 4" dia pipe on the dump pipe this produces minimal back pressure and allows the maximum benefit possible from an exhaust system.
There is basically two systems we have developed for the WRX, one is for the more conservative who is not intending to do major modifications who simply wants a good performance increase with a nice subtle note (FULL SYSTEM 1).
The other system being for the more serious enthusiast who is intending to go for the maximum increases possible from the WRX . (FULL SYSTEM 2 or FULL SYSTEM 3)

HEADER PIPE - SUBARU WRX Our famous 4" dump pipe, tapers down to 3" at the outlet, turbo flange has been shaped to allow for the best possible escape route for the exhaust gas from the turbo, the flange is machined to give a perfect seal on the turbo face and to ensure that the rest of the system fits perfectly. The pipe is CNC mandrel bent in one piece (out of the thousands sold, not 1 warranty claim).

HEADER PIPE WITH METALLIC SUBSTRATE CONVERTER - SUBARU WRX Some states' legislative requirements require the addition of a converter in the header pipe (as per the original exhaust). After testing, the addition of a metallic substrate converter was the only real option. (simply couldn't make the HP increases to the standard we were trying to achieve using a typical ceramic high flow converter)

HI FLOW CAT CONVERTER - SUBARU WRX The catalytic converter is a high flow type, from tests we did on various ceramic core cats this converter was equal to the best in flow for a 3" ceramic converter, and will comfortably support up to 200kw at the wheels, (if you are going for higher kw than 200 please consider spending the extra for one of our metallic substrate converters) the connecting tubes and flanges are gr304 stainless steel all tig welded. see universal converters for details

MID PIPE 1 - SUBARU WRX The mid pipe for this system is made from gr304 stainless steel, the catalytic converter end has been formed to suit our flexible joint gasket design ( no braided flex joints) this ensures a good seal but still allows for a satisfactory amount of movement in the system (to stop things from breaking), the pipe is then CNC mandrel bent in one piece, the other end is swaged down to 2 1/2" at the muffler entry end, hanging bracket has turned ferrules for perfect mounting.

OVAL REAR MUFFLER 1 - SUBARU WRX The oval muffler was designed in mind for the vehicle owner who wants a more conservative look and sound to the vehicle, but without compromising performance, the pipe work leading to the muffler is CNC mandrel bent in one piece, the stainless steel muffler is a straight through design, the tip is a duel skin 4" outer diameter type, muffler and tip are polished to a mirror finish, the hanging brackets have machined ferrules for a perfect fit. WILL BOLT DIRECTLY TO THE ORIGINAL EXHAUST SYSTEM.

TITANIUM TIP REAR MUFFLER 1 - SUBARU WRX The Titanium tip rear muffler was created for visual sound and performance impact (for when you want to be noticed) the pipe work leading to the muffler is 2 1/2" diameter CNC mandrel bent with no sharp bend angles. This creates a better laminar flow of the gases, the muffler body is gr304 stainless steel, hanger brackets have machined ferrules for a perfect fit, the titanium tip is polished the colored to bring out the brilliant colors of titanium. WILL BOLT DIRECTLY TO THE ORIGINAL EXHAUST SYSTEM.

OPTION 2 was a natural result of what happens over time with any product, we listened to the users of the product and what they wanted and with the increasing capacity of the boxer engine, we knew that there were more benefits to be had for those who want the most. We have retained the use of our 4" dump pipe ( because there is nothing better), and have the option of high flow catalytic converter, or metallic substrate converter, the mid pipe is 3' diameter all the way with a round resonator to help create a deep smooth exhaust note. This system is offered with the round titanium tip muffler (or a 3' oval muffler) the lead in tube to the muffler is 3" diameter CNC mandrel bent with minimal angle changes to assist the flow of the exhaust gases, the muffler has a 3" centre tube straight through. No need to have a RFL when you can have better performance and a more acceptable exhaust note. We manufacture this using gr304 stainless steel tube and flanges. For those of you who have the dump pipe and cat pipe already and wish to upgrade to this system, you will have to purchase the new mid pipe and the new rear muffler.
