SMB stands
for "Special Men's Business", traditionally motor
vehicles, especially performance cars had always been a
conversation topic of men rather than women. However,
it's not true that only men are interested in this area,
in recent times women have become a significant part of
the buying public and therefore influence in the
automotive market.
The name
came about predominantly from male customers asking us
to not tell their wives or partners what they were
buying for their vehicle, thus when we had to call the
customer back and when their partner asked what the call
was in relation to, we found that to answer that it
related to Special Mens Business, their wives or
partners were not offended by that response, and didn't
ask any more questions.
